a funny thing about online journals is that they allow a person to erase their past, literally. I find this concept very strange. a large part of the reason I keep journals is so I'm able to look back on times and events in my life because my memory isn't reliable. I'm at the point now though that I look back on some things and don't want to remember them... or at least don't need reminders. so I've been doing a lot of deleting. but as I delete I'm thinking about how this may be the most control I'll ever have over my memories. and here I am, just throwing them away....
